The agreement between us.

By creating an OURCHIVES account or using any part of the OURCHIVES tutoring platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms are a binding contract between you and OURCHIVES Confidence Co. LLC("OURCHIVES," "we," "us").

OURCHIVES is a confidence-centered, peer-circle tutoring platform for K–12 students. Children meet weekly in small live peer circles via Zoom with the same tutor. The platform delivers narrative progress notes — never grades, scores, or rankings — to parents.

You must be 18 years or older and the parent or legal guardian of the child you enroll. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the authority to consent to your child's participation.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the information you provide.
• Keeping your password secure and not sharing your account.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

OURCHIVES is sold as a subscription with four commitment tiers:

• 3-Month — billed monthly, baseline price.
• 6-Month — billed monthly, 10% discount, 6-month minimum.
• 9-Month — billed monthly, 20% discount, 9-month minimum.
• 12-Month — billed monthly with one month free (≈8.3% discount), 12-month minimum.

Billing begins on the date of enrollment and renews monthly until you cancel after the minimum term. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.

You may pause your subscription at any time. While paused: billing is suspended, your child's session access is suspended, and your community access becomes read-only. Your peer-circle slot is held for up to 60 days. Resuming restores all access at the next billing cycle.

You may cancel at any time after your minimum term ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; access is maintained until that date.

During the minimum term: cancellation is not available. Pause is available at any time as an alternative. Exceptions are considered case-by-case for documented hardships — write to justask@ourchivesworks.com.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If a session is cancelled by OURCHIVES (e.g., tutor unavailability), we provide a backup resource and credit equivalent missed time.

To keep peer circles safe and productive, you and your child agree not to:

• Harass, bully, or discriminate against any participant or staff member.
• Record, screenshot, or distribute session video, audio, or chat without written consent from OURCHIVES and every participating family.
• Share your child's session link with anyone outside your household.
• Use the parent community to advertise unrelated services or post unrelated content.
• Attempt to message or contact tutors outside the OURCHIVES platform. Tutors do not accept direct messages from parents — by design.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where appropriate we will refund unused paid time on a pro-rated basis.

All OURCHIVES content — including the platform, curriculum, narrative-note formats, tutor materials, and brand — is the property of OURCHIVES Confidence Co. LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the platform during your active subscription. You may not copy, redistribute, or build derivative works.

OURCHIVES is provided "as is." We make no guarantee of specific academic outcomes, grade improvements, or test-score gains. The platform is a supplemental learning environment, not a replacement for school instruction or formal evaluation.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Live sessions depend on third-party services (Zoom) and the participants' own internet connection.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OURCHIVES' total liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OURCHIVES, its officers, employees, and tutors from any claim arising out of your or your child's use of the platform in violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
